This is to inform the general public that Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the 2013 B.Sc. Mass Communication (5 years Part-Time programme)

THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Mass Communication, Kwara State University, Malete, runs a B.Sc. programme which got full accreditation in the recent exercise by the National University Commission (NUC)

AIM OF THE PART-TIME PROGRAMME

The aim of the B.sc. part-time programmeis to afford workers in and around Ilorin the opportunity of obtaining a first degree in the discipline.

Also, holders of ND and HND can sharpen their skills and competences in Multimedia Production, Media Convergence, Online Journalism and Cinematography.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

100 LEVEL

O'Level creditsin English Language, Maths, Literature in English, Government and any other relevant subject

DIRECT ENTRY

ND upper credit or HND in Mass communication
AND O'Level credits in English Language, Maths, Literature in English, Government and any other relevant subject

PROGRAMME DURATION

5 years for the normal programme and four years for Direct entry
