Eligibility: To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
-Hold a Bachelor degree with honours class II Division I, or have an equivalent level of attainment via previous study, work experience, research publications, referee's reports and other research experience; and
-Applicants from a non-English speaking background must demonstrate English proficiency (e.g. minimum overall IELTS score of 6.5 with minimum 6.0 in each no subtest)
-Recipients must maintain satisfactory progress as a full-time candidate at the University of the Sunshine Coast.

Scholarship Description: This scholarship provides an opportunity to undertake a PhD or Master by Research in the areas of exercise physiology and cardiovascular disease. The research program will investigate the relationship between exercises, blood flow and muscle capillary growth in patients with Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) and/or Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA). This is a unique opportunity that will provide experience and training in clinical and laboratory based research methods.

What does it cover? The scholarship will provide Stipend (living allowance) A$24, 653 per annum tax free for three years (2013full-time rate); and
-Tuition fees for the standard duration of the PhD program (three years);

Where original transcripts are in a language other than English, you must provide transcripts in the native language as well as official translated English transcripts. Failure to do so will result in your application being deemed ineligible.
